Bonnie has performed, traveled and competed with the Dance Theatre Unlimited for several years as a student at Dean/Black School of Performing Arts. She has a solid background in tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet. Bonnie has since choreographed and traveled with the Dance Theatre Unlimited for many years. She continues to further her knowledge and experience in dance by attending Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and many conventions and competitions throughout the year. She graduated from Alma College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Theatre and Dance. While attending Alma she received a dance scholarship, performed and traveled with the Alma College Dance Company. Through her years at Alma she performed in the Nutcracker twice, had many parts in a number of ballets as well as performed and choreographed for Alma's Student Choreographers Concert.
Bonnie has been an instructor at Dean/Black for twenty years and continues to love working with her students and seeing the progress they make from year to year. Her enthusiasm and dedication to dance is apparent in her classes as she nurtures and encourages her students in a truly positive environment.
